To find Kazak eagle hunters in the Saryarka region of Kazakhstan and learn as much as we can about eagle hunting and how they live.
We’ll start on the Kazakh steppe with horizon reaching flats, then move into the sands of Tau-Kum desert, hills, rocky ridges and make out way to the green alpine meadows Zaili Alatau. The entire time we’ll be following the ancient trails of the silk road and eastern nomads. Expect Ancient temples, wildlife, exotic national food, and a mix of camping and Kazak yurts.
