Out of the 10 tallest mountains in the world, Nepal is home to 8. Aside from the incredible geography of the Himalayan mountains, the country is known for its sacred temples and monks. The remoteness and extremely challenging roads make this a top destination for moto adventure riders.
This trip will be VERY challenging. We will be remote, riding on difficult terrain, likely camping a few nights, in high elevation, and dealing with cold weather. Expect to be dirty, dusty, muddy, using squatty potties, taking cold showers (when we find them), and navigating other challenges that can only be experienced in a Freshline excursion - ensure your body & mind are ready. However, we will experience the local culture and landscape in ways that you’ll reminisce about for the rest of your lives. We’re excited, and if we’re honest with ourselves, slightly nervous with anticipation, but we’re confident this group of men will work together to overcome these challenges.
Wil is an Expedition Leader for Freshline. He’s been a member since summer 2022 and joined Boot Camp 1 in Namibia shortly after. His leadership qualities and calm demeanor resulted in his selection as an expedition leader, where he then led the Patagonia expedition in 2023 and Nepal in 2024. Wil’s leadership style is focused on maximizing the team's potential to complete a mission while embracing the inevitable challenges and flexibility within a Freshline trip. When Type II fun descends on the team, expect to be offered candy as a morale booster.
Wil travels frequently and has ridden in challenging conditions in Ecuador and Peru with friends and family. He’s traveled to nearly 40 countries in the past decade, often taking his wife, family, and groups of friends to remote areas of the world (his wife is thrilled he now takes Freshline members on challenging excursions instead of her). He’s held various leadership positions at work, in volunteer roles, and in community circles.
Wil lives in Los Angeles and loves his career as a wealth advisor. He enjoys living an active and adventurous lifestyle, traveling, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and friends. He enjoys meeting new people, a spontaneous adventure, and encouraging others to make the most of life.
