Erik is the acting president of Freshline, and has been running international moto expeditions since 2017.
Ever the entrepreneur, Erik spent 6 years working on Freshline off the side of his desk while building other businesses, until the club was large enough to support a leap into a full time position.
In a lot of ways Freshline is the blending of Erik’s experience growing up. He was raised by an ex-Commando father and a loving Christian mother at a Wilderness Resort in British Colombia, Canada. Beginning full time work in the summers at 9 taught him the consequences of responsibility, the benefits of discipline, the power of problem solving, and the importance of humility.
After high school Erik attained a bachelor's degree in Business Management, working quintessential Canadian jobs in the summers including fly-in logger, mountain guide for the blind, and field service mechanic in the northern oil sands.
Some of Erik’s core interests include history & anthropology and his expeditions will tend to linger longer in regions to explore the ancient temples and remote tribes of those regions.
Erik currently lives on the edge of the Canadian Rockies in Cochrane, AB. He enjoys hiking and moto trips in the summer, ice climbing in the winter, and spending time with his wife and 2 young children.
