It is an epic place of rugged mountains, lush jungle, and friendly people. Every person I have encountered who has been to Peru has said the place is incredible. So add a Freshline way of doing things, this trip will be amazing.
Get ready for a high altitude riding, river crossing, cliff edge teetering, amazon jungle forging adventure. We start in the Andies at 10,000 feet where we will traverse mountain top ranges climbing in elevation to just over 16,000 feet, yes, I said 16,000 feet, like as high as some planes fly, before dropping into the Amazon basin within a couple hundred kilometres. We will be covering around 2,500 kilometres mostly on dirt roads in some of the most remote areas of Peru.
